Placing Orders via PerfectSend in 9 Easy Steps
|
Placing an order with BCT has become easier than ever. By logging onto your Orderprinting.com account, you can access your accounts PerfectSend feature that allows you to submit your file and order form in a few easy steps. Using PerfectSend and sending files in the PDF, PS, or EPS format, along with use of the BCT color palette, will give you the greatest benefits from using this method. The benefits include a $2.00 per order discount. The on-line preflighting process gives you an onscreen preview of the file being sent. Also, the order form is filled out at the time the order is placed, which means that you will not have to supply BCT with a sample or order form via fax, a great time saving feature for you. | Step 1: |
Direct your Internet Explorer (PC v.4 or higher, MAC v.5 or higher), or Netscape Navigator (v.4 or higher), web browser to www.orderprinting.com. This will take you to the orderprinting.com (OPC) login screen. |

Login to the site by filling in the appropriate Account, Password and name information as provided by your customer service representative. |

Once logged in, you will be presented the "Account Options" screen. Select (click on) the "PerfectSend" button. |
| Step 4: |
The PerfectSend screen is next, there are several options to complete various functions. To select a file for upload through the site, click on the "Browse" button next to the field near the top of the page. This will allow you to search for the file in the directory it was saved in. Once the desired file has been selected, click on the "Upload File" button. |
| Step 5: |
Once the "Upload File" button has been selected you will be directed to the "Job Queue" page. This is the page wherein the file uploaded is preflighted. It will take a few moments while the file is preflighted by the site. Once preflighting is complete, you can view your file for accuracy of composition or to verify that it is the correct file. When ready, select the "Place Order" button to proceed with ordering. |
| Step 6: |
Once "Place Order" has been selected you will be directed to the "Order Menu" page. This is where you will select the item type (business card, envelope, letterhead, etc.) for the file being sent. |
| Step 7: |
Once the item type has been selected the "Order Form" page will appear. Fill in the order form, being sure to select all options that apply in regards to quantity, ink colors, raised or flat finish, back side printing, etc. Once all pertinent order information has been selected or entered, select the "Next" button at the bottom of the page. |
| Step 8: |
The "Additional Information" page is next. If you have a Purchase Order number or any special instructions regarding the order, that information can be entered on this page. When complete, select the "Next" button at the bottom of the page. |
| Step 9: |
The "Order Information" page is next. This page allows you to review the information selected or entered for the order along with one last preview of the file being sent. Once all information has been verified and you are satisfied, you can complete the order process by selecting the "Send My Order" button at the bottom of the page. The on-line order process is complete. |
IMPORTANT NOTE regarding 2 sided and multiple orders:
Using the PDF format for these orders is the best method for on-line ordering. Multiple pages can be created in the original document to accommodate for a second side or multiple names. When distilled to the PDF format, these multiple pages can all be included in one PDF file for a one-time order upload session. If multiple orders have differing quantities, the comments section of the "Additional Information" page can be used to denote names and quantities.
